Satellite Internet Broadband

Satellite internet, or high speed satellite broadband, uses a satellite dish antenna for two way data communications to the internet and therefore does not require the use of your telephone line or cable system. With satellite broadband you can talk on your phone while accessing the internet so you’ll never miss important calls and your internet work won’t be interrupted. And, unlike dialup internet access, multiple users on your property can access your encrypted connection at the same time.

Like DSL or ADSL, a big advantage of HughesNet is that it is ‘always on’. You can sit down in front of your computer and start work. No waiting for a modem to dialup and no logging on. You can stay on the internet as long as you want, when you want.

A recent Hughes Network Systems survey discovered that that two in five small businesses did not know that broadband access was available to them. The survey also discovered that 35 percent of small businesses that are in urban locations do not have terrestrial broadband access to the internet. Forty four percent of small businesses that are in suburban locations do not have terrestrial (land line) broadband access to the internet. Seventy six percent of all small businesses that are in rural locations do not have terrestrial broadband access to the internet and overall 60 percent of companies with 1-10 people do not have terrestrial broadband access to the internet.

The reality is that just about every small business in the continental US can get high speed access through satellite service. We can help you bridge the broadband divide and bring to you the best service possible.
